At Truehearth Armouries we build armour for combat and display.  Combat armours are built to meet or exceed the standards for combat in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Please let us know if you have different needs.

    I am the owner/operator of Truehearth Armouries. Armouring came to me through my association with the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) where I am known as Lord David Trueheart. I became involved with the SCA in 1983 through an interest in historical combat recreation.  As for armouring, it came through necessity. Combat in the society requires steel helmets, but the nearest armourer was an 18 hour car ride away.   Therefore, in 1989 I made my first helmet. This developed into a hobby and in 1997 I opened Truehearth Armouries to make armour full time.  As the years progressed, TruehearthArmouries has manufactured from many locations until now, in 2020, we find ourselves in Bridgeport, West Virginia as a part time business.  I wish to thank all my customers for their patronage and wish you all to take advantage of my 32 years experience.
